Viridian has kicked off the season with beautiful holiday lighting and family-fun events that are sure to get everyone in the spirit. Residents and guests can tour the community at twilight to enjoy the spectacular light decorations as well as the magnificent 25′ Christmas Tree and the Viridian V, which was recently part of the Arlington’s Holiday Lights Parade and carried on the Viridian Fire Station 17’s truck.
The community brought the North Pole to Texas with the Winter Chill event on December 4th, and over 200 event-goers joined the festivitiesto frolic in 20,000 pounds of snow, slide down the huge white hill, drink hot cocoa and apple cider and nibble cotton candy, kettle corn and more from The County Fair Foods. The little ones had fun riding the Polar Express Train, watching the Polar Express movie and taking their seasonal photos with a very special guest, a reindeer.
Until January 4th, Viridian is also hosting the community’s Christmas Tree Tour of Homes, where guests have the opportunity to tour the 9 beautifully decorated models, meet the builders and find their new dream home. While there, visitors can also take a selfie with their kids, family or group in front of the Christmas Trees at each model home and share it on the community’s Facebook page or on Twitter with the hashtag #ViridianHolidays for a chance to win a $250 Cash Prize. The tour is open until January 4th, 2016.
