Dallas, TX (May 1, 2018): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, is excited to announce its launch into the active adult market in the Dallas area with Encore by David Weekley Homes in Elements at Viridian – Signature and Traditional Series. At completion, this age-restricted community will offer predominately single-story homes and a future amenity center.
Located in Arlington, within the master-planned community of Viridian, this gated community will feature approximately 300 homes. Situated on 45- and 50-foot homesites, the two series will offer a combined 10 floor plans ranging in size from 1,900 to 3,100 square feet and all feature a front porch and two-car garages. Lawn maintenance will also be included with HOA dues.
“We’re happy to introduce our Encore line of homes in Arlington,” said Ken McDonald, area president for David Weekley Homes in Dallas. “Designed with our 55+ customers in mind, these homes will include open, single-level floor plans with plenty of options for customization.”
Based on innovative real estate research, Encore re-envisions active adult living by combining the privacy of designated amenities with the camaraderie and interaction of a larger community. Future plans include access for residents to an amenity center that will feature a clubhouse with fitness center, gathering space, outdoor living area and pool. There will also be a game room for activities, and there are nearby trails for residents to explore. Other future plans include hiring a lifestyle director to plan daily activities.
