Viridian is the only master-planned community in Dallas/Fort Worth to have a major river running through it. You can explore over 200 acres of dedicated wetland habitat and perhaps see a Great Blue Heron, Northern Cardinal, Mallard, Snowy Egret, or Yellow Crowned Night Heron.
Opportunities abound to enjoy water based activities at Viridian. Our 600 acres of community lakes are for sailing, canoeing, rowing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and so much more. More water fun is along our southern border with the 8 mile River Legacy Parks Paddling Trail which winds through the heavy tree lined Trinity River.
For less adventurous souls, simply sit back and watch the sun go slowly down over the peaceful water as evening comes.
